Receive notifications directly in your inbox when the indoor climate requires your attention, or if a sensor needs a battery change.
How to get started
-
Go to the platform via https://onboarding.aabn.io/ and log in with your user.
-
Click "Admin" at the bottom of the screen.
-
Open the hamburger menu at the top right and select "Notifications".
-
Click the "ADD NOTIFICATION" button to create a new alert.
Step 1: Select sensors
Click "SELECT SENSORS" to mark the devices for which this alarm should apply. You can select one specific device or multiple at once by searching for an organization or a common name and marking all sensors.
Step 2: Choose what you want to monitor
Under "Select notifications", mark the parameters you are interested in:
-
CO2, ppm: Get notified of poor air quality.
-
Humidity, %: Monitor dry air or risk of mold.
-
Temperature, °C: Ensure the correct temperature level.
Step 3: Set your threshold
Select the level (from A to G) that should trigger the alarm. You will receive an email when measurements are "equal to or worse than" the selected letter. You can read more about the thresholds here.
-
Remember to choose a time period (e.g., 1 day) so you only get notified if the problem is persistent.
Step 4: Monitoring operation (Disconnected devices)
You can also activate "Disconnected device notification". This is ideal for reminding yourself to turn a sensor back on or check the connection if it hasn't been active for, for example, 1 or 7 days.
Step 5: Name and save
Give your alarm a descriptive name (e.g., "CO2 Alarm - North Office") so you can quickly recognize it in your inbox. Finish by clicking "CONFIRM ALARM".
Note that you can only create notifications for yourself, and the notification will be sent to the email address you registered your user with. If you wish to send emails to others, you must create them in the system and ask them to create the notification themselves.
