SKYEN is an advanced indoor climate sensor developed by ÅBN. With its integrated sensors, SKYEN gives users a clear insight into the quality of the indoor climate – and makes it visible with a single glance.
What does the CLOUD measure?
The SKY is equipped with five precise sensors:
-
CO₂ level
-
Temperature and humidity
-
Light level
-
TVOC
-
Sound level
What does the light mean?
SKYEN uses a discreet color-changing light as a visual indicator of the CO₂ level in the room:
-
Blue light : CO₂ level is below 1,000 ppm. The air is fresh and approved according to the Danish Working Environment Authority's recommendations.
-
Red light : The CO₂ level is above 1,000 ppm - the limit for what the Danish Working Environment Authority considers acceptable for extended periods. The red light is a call to air out, either manually (e.g. open windows) or mechanically (via ventilation) within the next half hour.
When the CO₂ level drops below 800 ppm again, the light automatically switches back to blue.
What if your SKYEN doesn't light up?
It is important to note that the SKYEN lighting design can be customized by an admin user in your organization. This means that colors, thresholds, and even whether the light should be on or off can be changed from the default setup. If your device does not light up as described here, it may be due to a customization made by your organization's administrator.
