The Children and Youth Administration in the Municipality of Copenhagen

Kristoffer Jensen

Situation

Kenneth Bastholm Mortensen is coordinator of the energy team in the Children and Youth Administration in the Municipality of Copenhagen and has daily responsibility for the operation of a very diverse building stock with everything from new, old, insulated and non-insulated buildings. A total of 800 buildings.

Solution

In buildings where ventilation is not sufficient, SKYEN is used as a supplement to ensure the best indoor climate for the municipality's children. In addition, the municipality wants the schools' staff and students to have an understanding of the indoor climate and to be able to act themselves when the indoor climate is bad.

Result

The results are overall positive, but depend on how much energy the schools put into the project. The places where the school has gone into it, Kenneth has only heard positive things from.
