SKYEN is a natural supplement to the ventilation system

Kristoffer Jensen

– A case from Recover Denmark

At Recover Danmark, we had a clear expectation that the indoor climate at our head office in Hvidovre was top-notch – we have ventilation systems in every room. Nevertheless, we wanted to test SKYEN , both to put extra focus on health and well-being – and to show employees and guests that we take the indoor climate seriously.

The test was carried out in a small one-person office centrally located in the building and surrounded by shared offices and a warehouse. It quickly became apparent that the ventilation system did not in itself guarantee a good indoor climate.

With SKYEN we were able to visualize the air – and thus make visible something we otherwise couldn't see. It gave us both documentation and dialogue. Suddenly everyone could see when the air needed a boost – and why it was necessary to adjust the ventilation system.

The SKY was constantly glowing red in the test room – a clear sign that the room was not being ventilated sufficiently. This led directly to an upward adjustment of the ventilation rate. Without the SKY, we would never have had that insight.

“Even with ventilation systems, it is not a given that the indoor climate is optimal. Systems require continuous adjustment – and it is difficult to do blindly. SKYEN makes the air visible.”
– Daniel Sørensen, Head of Competence and Business Development East, Recover

Our recommendation?
Use SKYEN – even if you already have a ventilation system. Not as a replacement, but as a supplement that ensures that the system actually works as intended. It's about creating transparency – both for employees and for those who operate the building.
