Copenhagen, August 18, 2025
The Danish company ÅBN is now launching SKYEN 2.0 , a new and improved indoor climate sensor that measures and logs data on CO₂, humidity, temperature, noise, light and TVOC . SKYEN 2.0 has been developed in close collaboration with several of the country's largest municipalities and thus meets all applicable municipal requirements for indoor climate measurements.
With simple installation and intelligent data management, SKYEN 2.0 makes it easier than ever for schools, daycare centers and workplaces to gain control over the indoor climate:
-
The sensor is equipped with a SIM card and requires neither WiFi nor IT support.
-
It is simply plugged into a power outlet and mounted on the wall with double-sided adhesive tape.
-
Data is ranked in ÅBN's indoor climate label from A (best) to G (worst), based on the Danish Working Environment Authority's limit values.
Flexible pricing models
ÅBN is also introducing new pricing models where it is possible to both buy and rent SKYEN 2.0 . This means that all economies can participate – regardless of whether it is a single institution or an entire municipality.
Documented results
The SKY has already proven to be an effective tool for improving indoor climate. In addition to healthier and more comfortable rooms, the new data also allows for:
-
Energy savings
-
Prevention of moisture damage
-
Ventilation alarms and operation optimization
SKYEN's platform packages range from simple dashboard views to complete solutions with quarterly reports and automatic email alerts for abnormal measurements.
