Spring is on its way, and the heat is once again spreading outdoors and not least indoors. The indoor climate can therefore quickly feel dense, stuffy and hot.

But there are many opinions on indoor climate, and it can therefore be difficult to make a decision that the window should be opened, without it being accompanied by a comment from a colleague or even starting a discussion.

Stopping an argument about whether to open or close the window in the office can often be a challenge. So here are a few suggestions to help solve the problem:

  1. Set rules: Set up clear guidelines for regulating the temperature and air quality in the office. This can help determine when the window should be opened or closed. These guidelines should be visible to everyone in the office.

  2. Use technology: Introduce technology that can monitor the air quality in the room. This can help guide you as to when the air needs to be replaced.

  3. Collect feedback: Get feedback from employees regarding temperature and air quality. By understanding the employees' perspectives and needs, you can agree together on a solution that suits everyone's interests.

  4. Understanding: It may be necessary to show understanding for different people's wishes and find a balanced solution that meets everyone's needs. Nothing works 100% for everyone and compromises may be necessary.
